9:00am      MEET & GREET with coffee and donuts at the Alma Hotel.

10:00am    KNIGHTLY PARADE from downtown to the Castle!

10:30am    MUSEUM OPENS (Admission: $6 Adults / $4 Students, ½ price for those in period dress; weapons must be sheathed and peace tied.)

10:30am    Bella Voce Renaissance Vocal Ensemble Performance

11:00am    Wisconsin Historical Fencing Association - Longsword Demo

11:40am    Clann Tartan- Non-firing Matchlock Musket Demo

12:20pm   SCA Shire of Shattered Oak- Rapier & Armored Combat Demos

1:10pm      Hokkyokusei Kendo Club - Kendo

ONGOING: Ancient & Medieval Warriors from the Milchiean Hoplites and A Life Medieval. Also, demonstrations of Traditional Medieval Crafts.

PARADE ROUTE: The parade will marshal on River Street, cross the Great River Road by the Alma Hotel, head up Elm Street which turns into Orange Street, and then down 2nd Street to Castlerock Museum at 402 South 2nd Street across from the Courthouse. (Keep in mind, 2nd Street will be closed to vehicle traffic in front of the museum.)

10  to 4pm - Juggling at the LOCAL PERK BAKERY at 105 South Main 

10:30 am - You will be greeted at the Castlerock Museum by the singing troupe, Bella Voce who sing madrigals and motets from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. After that, they will be singing in the shops of town as noted on your Ballot (found in the shops).

10 to 5 -  Shops of the Shire will be displaying art contest entrants for YOU to judge and  get a chance to win the $100.00 certificate for shop goods. GYPSY BELLY DANCERS AND MADRIGAL SINGERS  will entertain at some shops along the way.

10 to 5 pm COSTUMES are available for sale at ART AND SOUL at 303 North Main.


11 am to 10 pm  The Empire Room in the Hotel de Ville Grand located at 215 North Main Street will be serving up a special menu based on Medieval recipes.  After an array of appetizers to tease the palate, they will feature exciting entrees such as the ever popular "Grave of small Birds", Heathen Cakes, and Fartes of Portingalewith, with desserts including Tourteletes in Fryature!  They will serve Wisconsin Mead, Glug and Annisette. 11 am THEATER OF FOOLS performance that the EMPIRE ROOM - first of three during the day throughout town. Holy Grail key raffle to follow. Pick up your Ballot which also provides information about the event and the event schedule.

11 to 5 pm  Meet our strolling entertainers as you walk the galleries of Main Street while judging our artisans work and art contest.  You will judge the art work that best reflects the collection of the Castlerock Museum.  You'll notice the tie vote last year for two items - both of which displayed here and in town this year. 

11 to 1 pm FACE PAINTING at WINGS OVER ALMA  110 North Main Street

1 pm THEATER OF FOOLS at WINGS OVER ALMA at 110 North Main Street - Holy Grail key raffle to follow.

2 pm The ALMA THEATRE at 121 South Main Street will present THE PRINCESS BRIDE. Tickets for a buck.

2 to 3 pm Not-so-high-wire act by ROBIN HOOD Men In Tights, in the formal garden behind the Fire and Ice Ice Cream and Coffee shop at 305 North Main Street.

3pm THEATER OF FOOLS at DANZINGER WINERY on the bluff over looking the town and river. Holy Grail key raffle to follow.

4 pm - presentation of the Holy Grail at the CASTLEROCK MUSEUM to one of those who attended the THEATER OF FOOLS performances during the day.

4:15 pm - DRAWING for the $100.00 gift certificate awarded to one of those who judges the Art Contest - YOU can be a judge if you choose to do so during the day - details at the shops of the Shire during the day.  Winner of the ART CONTEST will be announced at the museum as well. 

5 to 7 pm The Masquerade Ball will be held in the Boom Boom party room at the Empire Room at 215 North Main. The cost is $10.00 which includes appetizers.  Masks provided!  Dress Ren Fest or black and white and BOLD!  Music provided by the WABASHA WINDS.
